An earthquake of magnitude 5.6 M at a depth of 53.5 km occurred on 15 June at 16.35 UTC (at 11.35 local time) in the sea at 9.5 km from the western coast of central-western Peru. According to media reports, as of 15 June, one person died in northern Lima city, and five have been injured.
