| Comments: | Since February heavy rains mixed with hail storm have fell in the western region of Burundi and subsequent flooding affected several areas of Cibitoke. The worst affected were Cibitoke and Bujumbura Rural Provinces where an estimated of 198 families had houses damaged and 2938 hectares of crops (rice, beans, cassava and potatoes) destroyed. |
